Cute Fall pocket holder/card!!

Just wanted to share a little pocket card I created for a friend!! I slipped a Hershey candy bar wrapped in Designer Series Paper. So super cute & quick to make!! For more detailed instruction you can visit my other blog www.sweethomestamper.blogspot.com. Hope all is well!!;)

Autumn Acorn FUN!!;)

 I made this little treat/card box, matching card, and treat bag using the NEW Autumn Accents Bigz die (item# 127812) and Wonderfall stamp set (item#128087). I used the 2 1/2" Circle punch (item#120906) to make/form the little pumpkin on the front of the holder using the Orchard Harvest DSP (item#126895). I embellished the pumpkin with our NEW In Color Dahlias (item#127556) and Baker's Twine in Early Espresso (item#123124). So FUN to make!! The treat bag is filled with some YUMMY Maple Malted Milk Balls and Chocolate covered Toasted Corn Nuts!!

"PERFECTLY PRESERVED" MEMORIES!!;)

Thought I would share the latest scrapbook layout I made!! Everyone has been busy canning/preserving all the yummy fruit they harvested so I was inspired to "preserve" the memories!!
These two are from my friends Diana and Sherry B!! One is Cherry and the other is Peach!! YUUUMMMY!! I entered this layout into DL.ART Thankful Thursday 1000 POST LINKY PARTY!!

Cute 2x2 cards & box Sneak Peak!!

 Just wanted to give you a sneak peak at one of Stampin' Up! newest (yet to be released) stamp sets!  I used one of our stamp sets that will be a HOSTESS set in the new catalog!! I love this set!! I also used our NEWEST Designer Series Paper & ribbon!! I decided to make little 2x2 cards and a box/holder for them. I used the Big Shot die Bitty Box & Envelope (item#115967) & altered the box a bit!!

 

This is the Big Shot Die Bitty Box & Envelope before I altered it.

Trim off the end at the score mark.

This is what you will have trimmed off.

Trim off the other end.

This is what you will have trimmed off and what will remain.

Use the 1 3/4" circle punch & punch about 1/4" in on both sides.

Add Sticky Strip to both flaps.

Fold & adhere.

End result!! Embellish however you would like! Now you can slip your little 2x2 cards into the top of the box!!

Sunday Sweet Floral Card!!

Just thought I would share a card I made using the SU background stamp Sweet Floral & my favorite SU sentiment stamp (Style Beautiful)!!  We are having a "snow day" here!!  I SOOOO can't wait for Spring!!

The Bald Eagles returned!! A fun & simple Easter Bunny Favor Box!!

  I am so excited for Spring!! We have been soooo cold up here in the White Mountains this winter!! I thought I would post a couple of pics of the Bald Eagles up the road from our home. These were taken a couple of months ago I just never had the chance to share them. No matter how many times I see them I am still in AWE of them!! They have left for the year & will return next winter (fingers crossed!!).


 I am assuming this is a youngster as it still didn't have its white head etc. Look at that wingspan!!






Okay, now for my next Easter project!! I made these little boxes with the SU Fancy Favor Box Big Shot Die & several SU punches. I just love punch art lately!! I used the Top Note Die for the body of the bunny & cut pieces of scrap CS and ran it through my Crimper for the whiskers & 'faux' grass inside.

 This is the back side of the bag. I used the Fancy Flower punch & cut a small square of window sheet to keep all the goodies inside!!

LOOOONG TIME NOOOOOOOOO POST!! And a Punch Art bunny card!!

My latest Easter card!!

Hi everyone!! It has been so long since I posted last!! So much has been going on in my personal life. Nothing I can't handle, just consuming enough that I had to put some things I enjoy on the back burner for a bit. As I mentioned a while back my DH had been experiencing some decline in his physical health. Thankfully after many doctor appointments and finally surgery we have seen much improvement. He is now going to therapy two times per week to continue his progress.

Unfortunately, while we were consumed with all his doctor appointments down in the valley our little teenage son decided it was a great time to start acting up!! So, for the last couple of weeks (after trying everything else!) I decided I would return to High School and shadow him!! Imagine his excitement!! LOL!! It worked though!! He is now back on track as well!!

 Despite the many challenges we (my family) have faced these past couple of months we have made it through!! Thank you Jesus!!

I do however miss my "crafty friends" on here!! I don't want to make promises I may not be able to keep, however, it is my intention to get back on track and spend some more of my free time on what I love!! I am hoping to post/share on here at the very least a couple of times per week from here on out!! I also want to catch up on all of your blogs & doings!!
