Thank you to all who played along!! I am still out of town as my DH's doctor sent him for two extra days of more testing!! I can't wait for some answers soon!!! Funny thing is they can't get us back in until December to discuss all the tests etc.!!!! At least I will have some time between now and then to get caught up on everything at home!!! Fall Birthday "book" card and Cricut Collectible giveaway!!

Hello everyone!! Been super busy trying to get my DH doctor appointments/referrals handled. Unfortunately the last procedure didn't help :( ! If that was consuming enough, my dearest friend had a health emergency. Thank goodness everything turned out okay!! Then had to get my son ready and off to Utah. I am so proud of him!! It was his first out of town "working" experience (he is part of a volunteer search & rescue program)!!

 Anyhoo!! I decided to attempt making one of those AWESOME "card books" that I have seen on Youtube (http://youtu.be/s4vetra7Np4 -link to tutorial)!! I used some of my favorite supplies!! The roses are from I AM ROSES and the Scarecrow was cut from CM Cheerful seasons cart. I decided to quill the little pumpkin and added it last minute!!  I decided to enter it into a couple of challenges as well!!

Cute Halloween Treat Bags!!

I am making these treat bags filled with Salt Water Taffy for my nephew's class and also to enter them into a couple of challenges!! I used my new stamp sets House of Haunts and Out on a Limb. Love these sets!! The little witch reminds me of a book I used to read when I was little called 'The littlest Witch" (I think that is what it was called!!LOL!!).  These baggies are all I could get finished before I am off to take my DH to the doctor in the valley for treatments for his neck and arm!! My attempt at making stick pins!!

I have been seeing these pins eveywhere and just love them!! Thought I should try making some myself!! They are a little time consuming but fun to make!

I used a head pin that was silver plated on the one that is bent!! (It was so fragile I bent it when I tried pushing it into the little display block!!) I made some for my Circle Pal and for my BFF!! Hope they don't fall apart!! LOL!!

Boy these past couple of weeks have been hectic!!  I have been taking the DH to doctor appointments and have not been able to spend much time in the craft room!! Upon returning I had to get caught up on several projects I had already started before I left. Decided to take a break and made something on my Cricut before I forget how to use it!! LOL!! I think I will make several of these just to have on hand!! I have started working on some stick pins and will post pic's just as soon as they are completed!! Today is also my Circle Pal's Birthday!! So HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIANE!!:)

More fun, a layout, and GIVEAWAY with Jacob & Clippy!!

I let Jacob & Clippy get some much needed rest while I started working on a quick layout. Turned out it wasn't so quick! I had problems with my sewing machine and by the time I had it fixed it was SUPER late & went to bed!! This morning I got back to work and finally finished!! Here are some pic's of the completed LO. I am so excited that I finally started working on my scrapbooks again!! I was completely "stuck" on making cards for the last year or so!! It has been so long that it seemed like the first time ever doing a LO!!!

I also went out yesterday to find Jacob & Clippy some 'western wear'!!
I figured they would want to "look" the role while they helped me with the horses!! Don't they look handsome??!! Clippy was a little nervous around the horses & would not let go of Jacob!!

Jacob was even brave enough to hand feed the horses!! I think Jacob makes a pretty "Hot" Cowboy!! Lol!!

Jacob's Hot Blog Hop!! Guess who came knocking on my craft room door!!

I am sooooo super excited to have some visitors in my craft room!! It's Jacob and Clippy from Chloe and Her Clip on Koalas and Me n' Miss Pink Cricuts Hot Blog Hop!! Before we could get acquainted I had to tend to the animals!! Jacob and Clippy offered to help!! Here they are collecting this morning's eggs!!

Clippy chatted with my little hen (she is currently sitting on some eggs that will be hatching within the next couple of weeks!!) about his own new arrival (Clippy Jr.) and how much he misses him!!:(

Paper Cutz Challenge Entry-The sky's the limit!!

Just a quick post and pic of a card that I am entering  into the 100th challenge over at Paper Cutz Challenge blog. Anything you would find in the sky!!:) I went to a Stampin' Up class today and am so wiped out!!  I just received my new Fancy Frames cart in the mail today!! Can't wait to try it out tomm.!! Paper Layerz Penguin card!!!

I designed this card for the BBTB2 weekly challenge. It required you to use the Penguin with umbrella cut from Jolly Holidays. I used my FAVORITE cardstock Paper Layerz to show you all how AWESOME it is! I love how each 12x12 sheet has several different coordinating colors (4x4 squares) all on one sheet so you can complete a full layered image!! It is so easy to plan your image on Cricut Craft Room/Gypsy when you don't have to cut up a bunch of different paper and try and place them in the right spot on your mat. (I included a picture of the paper too.) I also used my favorite Cricut projects cart Flower Shoppe!! LOVE IT!!

"Is anyone in there??"

I just had to share this pic with all of you!! I converted the shed into my own little crafting space so I (and all my supplies) are not in everyone else's way and to have some "me" quiet time. Well, needless to say my son, DH, my son's friends, and extended family keep finding their way in!! I feel blessed that they want to spend time with me but SERIOUSLY!!?? LOL!! Today, I kept hearing something at the door and when I went to step out of my little "craft shed" this is what I almost tripped over:

Tim Holtz Inspired Tag!!

My Cricut Expression,Imagine, & Gypsy are finally all set up and updated!! Whew!! While I was waiting/updating I made a Tim Holtz inspired tag. I love Tim Holtz!

I had the hardest time getting a good angle!! The area is only about 9x9!! I have more organizing to do so pardon the messy shelves!! I still have to hang more shelves etc.!!

So HAPPY to be back!!:)))

I know it has been a while since I have been on here!! I am happy to say I don't plan (fingers crossed) on being away from my crafting for that long again!! I missed it sooo much!! I had decided in the beginning of the summer to convert an old shed to my new crafting room!! Well I began the renovation and that same week we had a HUGE forest fire (Wallow Fire)!!

This pic is of the sun trying to shine through the smoke and ash that was in the air. It was taken at about 7:45am!! It was like this every morning and would lighten up as the day went on.

This was taken from our front porch when the fire was still approx. 6 miles away!! That is smoke not the clouds!!:/


And by the end of that first week we were forced to evacuate. I never felt that our home was in danger of burning down, however, we were close enough that the air quality was not good!! We only live 1 1/2 miles (appx.) from where the forest tree line was burning!! We were fortunate to be able to stay with my in-laws in Phoenix for the week of the evacuation. As soon as the order was lifted and we were ready to come home, our vehicle decided to break down. So we were "stuck" for another 1 1/2 weeks so the dealership could fix it!! I am thankful it happened when it did, as our warranty is up in another 4000 miles!! That would have been one PRICEY repair!! When we did finally return my AWESOME parents and I worked non-stop to complete the "craft shed"!! I am SOOOOOO BLESSED to have such caring parents!! It was such a fun little journey/learning experience (we are DEFINATELY not experienced construction workers)!!!! I am proud of us though!! My Dad and I did all the electrical (without getting electrocuted) and he built the little front porch!! My Mom and I did all the insulating, drywall, texture, painting, flooring, cabinets, and finish work! Whew!! I don't want to bore you so I will be posting some pic's of my new "craft room" after I get it all organized!! And then back to crafting!!:) God Bless!!
