The Bald Eagles returned!! A fun & simple Easter Bunny Favor Box!!

  I am so excited for Spring!! We have been soooo cold up here in the White Mountains this winter!! I thought I would post a couple of pics of the Bald Eagles up the road from our home. These were taken a couple of months ago I just never had the chance to share them. No matter how many times I see them I am still in AWE of them!! They have left for the year & will return next winter (fingers crossed!!).


 I am assuming this is a youngster as it still didn't have its white head etc. Look at that wingspan!!






Okay, now for my next Easter project!! I made these little boxes with the SU Fancy Favor Box Big Shot Die & several SU punches. I just love punch art lately!! I used the Top Note Die for the body of the bunny & cut pieces of scrap CS and ran it through my Crimper for the whiskers & 'faux' grass inside.

 This is the back side of the bag. I used the Fancy Flower punch & cut a small square of window sheet to keep all the goodies inside!!

LOOOONG TIME NOOOOOOOOO POST!! And a Punch Art bunny card!!

My latest Easter card!!

Hi everyone!! It has been so long since I posted last!! So much has been going on in my personal life. Nothing I can't handle, just consuming enough that I had to put some things I enjoy on the back burner for a bit. As I mentioned a while back my DH had been experiencing some decline in his physical health. Thankfully after many doctor appointments and finally surgery we have seen much improvement. He is now going to therapy two times per week to continue his progress.

Unfortunately, while we were consumed with all his doctor appointments down in the valley our little teenage son decided it was a great time to start acting up!! So, for the last couple of weeks (after trying everything else!) I decided I would return to High School and shadow him!! Imagine his excitement!! LOL!! It worked though!! He is now back on track as well!!

 Despite the many challenges we (my family) have faced these past couple of months we have made it through!! Thank you Jesus!!

I do however miss my "crafty friends" on here!! I don't want to make promises I may not be able to keep, however, it is my intention to get back on track and spend some more of my free time on what I love!! I am hoping to post/share on here at the very least a couple of times per week from here on out!! I also want to catch up on all of your blogs & doings!!

Fall Birthday "book" card and Cricut Collectible giveaway!!

Hello everyone!! Been super busy trying to get my DH doctor appointments/referrals handled. Unfortunately the last procedure didn't help :( ! If that was consuming enough, my dearest friend had a health emergency. Thank goodness everything turned out okay!! Then had to get my son ready and off to Utah. I am so proud of him!! It was his first out of town "working" experience (he is part of a volunteer search & rescue program)!!

 Anyhoo!! I decided to attempt making one of those AWESOME "card books" that I have seen on Youtube (http://youtu.be/s4vetra7Np4 -link to tutorial)!! I used some of my favorite supplies!! The roses are from I AM ROSES and the Scarecrow was cut from CM Cheerful seasons cart. I decided to quill the little pumpkin and added it last minute!!  I decided to enter it into a couple of challenges as well!!

Cute Halloween Treat Bags!!

I am making these treat bags filled with Salt Water Taffy for my nephew's class and also to enter them into a couple of challenges!! I used my new stamp sets House of Haunts and Out on a Limb. Love these sets!! The little witch reminds me of a book I used to read when I was little called 'The littlest Witch" (I think that is what it was called!!LOL!!).  These baggies are all I could get finished before I am off to take my DH to the doctor in the valley for treatments for his neck and arm!! More fun, a layout, and GIVEAWAY with Jacob & Clippy!!

I let Jacob & Clippy get some much needed rest while I started working on a quick layout. Turned out it wasn't so quick! I had problems with my sewing machine and by the time I had it fixed it was SUPER late & went to bed!! This morning I got back to work and finally finished!! Here are some pic's of the completed LO. I am so excited that I finally started working on my scrapbooks again!! I was completely "stuck" on making cards for the last year or so!! It has been so long that it seemed like the first time ever doing a LO!!!

I also went out yesterday to find Jacob & Clippy some 'western wear'!!
I figured they would want to "look" the role while they helped me with the horses!! Don't they look handsome??!! Clippy was a little nervous around the horses & would not let go of Jacob!!

Jacob was even brave enough to hand feed the horses!! I think Jacob makes a pretty "Hot" Cowboy!! Lol!!

Crop Stop Challenge #14 Sketch-Easter Anya Entry

I have been in the mood to make Easter cards! I love all the "Springy" colors!! I used my Easter Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm and colored it in with Copic markers. My in-laws are visiting this weekend and they probably wonder where I keep sneaking away to!! I just had to finish this card though!! He! He!!:) I decided to enter it into the Crop Stop Challenge .

PKS Bunny Stamp Spring card!!:)

Sorry I haven't posted any projects for a while. We were out of town and upon returning I made the decision to find a new home for my horses. Thank goodness our Uncle agreed to take them to his ranch. That way I can visit them anytime I want!! I am still super sad!!:( The feed is just so expensive right now.

Okay, on to my card!! I decided to make a card with my new PKS Easter Basket Bunny stamp for the latest PKS Challenge #48, Die Cuttin' Diva's Spring Challenge, and Creative Sisters Monday challenge(punches). I used blending chalk to color in the image (first time for me and I kind of like it).

**The cardstock I used was from Michaels and was only $0.14 a sheet. It's hard to tell in the pic, but it is super nice cardstock. It has raised "felty" images and high gloss too!!

Birthday card for my Super Man!!:)

My hubby has a birthday coming on Tuesday and my son and I call him our Super Man! This is a special title that was given to him by our son during the time my husband was in a coma. It came about when I tried to explain to our son what the situation was and he told me...."Mom, don't worry!! My Dad is going to be okay, he's Superman!!". (He was 11 years old at the time of the accident.) Of course I was dying inside thinking, "omg he doesn't understand the severity of the situation!!". But my little boy taught me something that day. He had an unbreakable faith and love in God and his Dad. And I still believe to this day the Lord comforted him and gave him peace in is heart. He would just tell me he just KNEW he would be okay. That little boy never cried until the day his Dad woke from his coma! Just tears of joy!

And though the journey is still ongoing, our Superman has surpassed every goal the doctors had set for his recovery. Both of 'my boys' have taught me so much through these years. So Tuesday we will celebrate LIFE!! A BEAUTIFUL LIFE!! And I just have to say.....THANK YOU JESUS!!

Valentine treat bags for my Nephew to bring to school.

I used to love planning my son's birthday parties and making treats for him to bring to school etc.! My son is 17 now, and wasn't to keen on my idea to give his "girlfriends" Valentine treats. So, I hit up my 7 year old nephew and he loved the idea!! LOL!! Thought I would share them on here. This was fun!!

I made the girls treat bags with the Hello Kitty Cartridge and Hannah Montana Cartridge. The boys were made with the Spongebob Cartridge!! I used Stampin Up paper, ribbon, and Top Note Die for the toppers. Sentiments are from My Pink Stamper and Joy's Life stamp sets.
